These terms apply to your use of this website and to any offer we make on your vehicle. By submitting our form or accepting an offer, you agree to them.
Offers are estimates until we see the vehicle
Any price we quote by phone, text, or email is based entirely on the information you give us. It is a good-faith offer, not a binding contract, and it assumes the vehicle is substantially as you described it.
We do not renegotiate at the curb as a sales tactic. If the vehicle is what you told us it was, you get the number we quoted. If something material is different — the engine is missing, there is no title when you said there was one, the VIN doesn't match — we will tell you before we load anything and you are free to decline.
Proof of ownership
You represent that you are the legal owner of the vehicle, or that you are authorized to sell it, and that it is free of liens and outstanding loans unless you told us otherwise. We require a valid government-issued photo ID at pickup, and in most cases the vehicle's title. We are required to keep records of vehicle purchases under Illinois and Wisconsin law.
Before pickup, you are responsible for
- Removing all personal belongings — check the glovebox, console, and trunk. We are not responsible for property left in a vehicle after it is towed.
- Removing the license plates.
- Cancelling your insurance after the sale is complete.
- Filing any notice of sale or transfer required by your state.
- Making sure the vehicle is accessible to a tow truck and that we have permission to be on the property.
Towing
Towing is free within our service area for vehicles we purchase. We reserve the right to decline a pickup if the vehicle is inaccessible, if a required permit is not in place, or if conditions are unsafe.
Payment
Payment is made at the time of pickup, once the paperwork is complete and ownership is verified. Payment method is arranged in advance.
Cancellation
Either of us may cancel before the vehicle is loaded, for any reason, at no cost. Once the vehicle is loaded and you have been paid, the sale is final.

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any transaction is limited to the amount we agreed to pay for the vehicle. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
